God is Well-Pleased with You

A huge part of my story is my freedom from religion. Now, some of you may read this and say “what do you mean freedom from having a religion?”

What I mean is this- For years, I thought It was my duty to perform for God. I thought I had to strive to gain His approval, and that I needed to work my way to heaven. Jesus revealed to me that this was not His Gospel at all, not His heart for me at all. He desires a deep, loving relationship with his sons and daughters. A relationship so intimate, that His sons and daughters want to serve him all out of the overflow of their great love for Him.

The first step to rising up in our calling, is recognizing that God wants relationship with us instead of religion. He has had plenty of people who have settled for religious duty and acts of service- he had this response from people before He sent his son. He sent His Son to die on the cross in your place, because He wanted relationship with you. By dying on the cross, he forgave all of your sins yesterday, today, and forever, and now has made a way for you to have eternal life to be with him forever, in heaven one day, and on earth through the Holy Spirit.

He wants a real relationship with you.

I know in the past people made you perform for them to get their approval, but you don’t have to do that in this divine relationship. He approves of you, and tells you to “come as you are.”

I know in the past you confided in someone, but they broke your trust. You can trust Him. He is trustworthy- He is worthy of your trust.

I know in the past you felt misunderstood for the trials and temptation you are facing, but He knows you more than you know yourself. He is with you in the midst of them, and He is right there with you to graciously pull you out stronger than before.

You may be able to relate to me in that you have been on a path striving to gain God’s approval.

Receive this today from the Father’s heart toward you, “Beloved, I am well pleased with you. I am so proud of you, no matter what happened yesterday or even earlier today. I may not love the action but I always love you. My grace for you is more than sufficient in your weaknesses. My victory overrides any damage the enemy tried to do. When you fall down, I am always there to pick you back up again. Receive my grace for you today. “Get up again, my child. I know you are disappointed by the way it seems things are playing out, and I know you are down, but here, grab hold of my hand, and get back up again. Your story is not over yet. I am still moving, and I am fighting for you on your behalf, turning all things for Good because you Love me and are called according to my purposes. I will never leave you nor forsake you, and the blood I shed for you on the cross covers you. Now, today, you have the opportunity to rise up and walk in My Victory. Together, with your hand in mine, we can do anything. I am working all things together for Good. I am well-pleased with you.

“But he answered me, “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me” (1 Corinthians 12:9).

“And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Prayer- “Lord, help me to get back up again and to claim the victory I have in you because of your love-gift for me on the cross. Praise you, Lord, that your grace is sufficient for me in my weaknesses.”

Activation- Is there an area of your life that you have found yourself performing? Whether in your marriage (future marriage), family, job, or your daily walk with Christ? Jesus is well-pleased with you. How can you enjoy Him today in a new way, not out of performance but in enjoyment?
