Firing and Rewiring
Our brains have the capability of undergoing “neuroplasticity.” What this means is that God made neural networks in our brain with the life-long ability to transform through growth and reorganization. Before reading on, ask the Lord to help you see spiritually through the way he created us physically. This was PROFOUND for me when I learned in graduate school. Our brain has the power to experience a re-shaping. There are 8 principles- use it or lose it, use it and improve it, specificity, repetition, intensity, time, salience, age, transference, and interference. In this I see that God uses the physical to teach us the spiritual. To me, this displays that the Holy Spirit wants to be involved in every aspect of your thought life and transformation process.
Someone reading this today is finished neglecting their spiritual gifts believing the lie that they are not worthy of walking in the divine call God has on their life, and is rising up today with confident belief that they were made to walk in Christ into their God-given destiny. Someone reading this is in a position of needing to rewire their thought life by speaking Truth instead of a lie, which in return is driving their brain into new functioning that will lead to the enhancement of other mind-sets. Someone reading this is desperate for change in the negative neural pathways, and is ready to walk in the positive pathway derived from dwelling on Life and Truth. Someone reading this today is receiving God’s unending grace for them, as they experience release from shame and condemnation gaining fresh insight that God has them on a journey that often takes time and new experiences. Someone reading this today needs to know that you saying “yes” to the call on your life is going to lead millions of others into saying “yes” to The Father in the power of transference. Someone reading this today is ready to say no to the activity that is interfering them from moving forward into their God-designed destiny. Someone reading this is ready to experience redeemed short-term and long-term memory as they repetitively go back to the faithfulness of God, causing them to reorganize their thoughts of unbelief to belief that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Just as a flame is lit to spark Light in the darkness, I pray today you sit with the Holy Spirit and ask him to bring to surface the negative thoughts that need to be blown out, and to remind you of the heavenly thoughts that need to be lit aflame to bring Light to your thought life.
Activation- Write out declarations from Scripture to replace lies with the Truth spoken in God’s Word. Stick them on your mirror, in the dashboard of your car, on the kitchen window seal, or wherever you will see them the most. Continuously speak this truth over your life, as you partner with the Holy Spirit to fire and rewire new neural pathways of believing The Truth already spoken over you by your Heavenly Father.
