Miracles In Us and Around Us

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is the Tree of Life” (Proverbs 13:12).

“Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning"(Psalm 30:5).

We do not want to miss a moment or opportunity to hopefully stir at least one person’s faith.

There is no comparison in stories, but what I do recognize is that some of you may have experienced “hope deferred” longer than we have. Whatever area of your life you may be currently feeling hope deferred or whichever area you have before, I pray you experience a touch from Heaven today. I pray our story stirs your faith. If it is just for one person’s faith to be stirred to knowing Jesus deeper or to begin trusting Him with all their heart, our season of a seemingly hope deferred is well worth it.

Tears fill my eyes writing this because I sense the “burden” waiting can sometimes feel like when walking through a season of “not yet.” I have learned that in this time of not yet, Jesus is not stagnant but actually doing simply (yet powerfully), something else. He is aligning our life with His perfect plan.

In transitional seasons we sometimes sense a “not yet, but just wait!”

In our season of not yet, as we lean into Jesus, we will discover He is actually doing immeasurably more than we could have ever hoped for or imagined when we felt like he was deferring us from our hope or dream.

When we allow Jesus to BE our hope, we are never disappointed in the end. One repetitive theme Jesus has continued to teach me is to not put my hope in the person, the job, the talent, the positive outcome, or for me recently, the baby. It takes conscious partnership with Jesus to not put our hope in the breakthrough but in the One breaking us through. (The only baby I can put my hope in is the one that Our Father sent to take away our sins and provide access into eternal life with Him.) He is the one making the walls fall down, developing on our behalf, opening our eyes to what He is doing, and revealing to us the protective nature of our Father’s perfect plans. He is sovereign and He cares about our hopes and dreams even more than we do. When we delight ourselves in the Lord, we can trust that the hopes and dreams wildly stirring up in us are those that He actually placed inside of us. What is our assignment in the “not yet?” We keep delighting. (See Psalm 37:4 for further study).

When we allow Him to take the wheel, and we sit beside him in the passenger’s seat, we find that the destination He is taking us to is Glorious and Divine. The path our human intellect assumes we should take, is probably not near as fruitful as the path He drives us down that leads us to the Promised Land we had been hearing about from Him.

When we allow Jesus to be the only desire of our heart, we find that He is the only thing that satisfies and that anything Good in our lives comes from Him, in Him, out of Him.

When we fully rely on Him, we grow to know Jesus personally as our Shepherd, our Peace, our Healer, our Guide, our Provider, our Protector, our Comfort, our Banner of Victory, our Sanctifier, and our Anointer (Psalm 22). He becomes our Way, our Truth, and our Life (John 14:6).

The Father’s Great, Perfect, Spotless LOVE, never ends. It is only just beginning. We are only beginning to tap into the immense Love He has for us, and everything He allows to happen is out of this Love. Remember, He is on mission to bring forth His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, and sometimes trials we walk through are what are necessary to bring forth heaven to earth in our homes. They shape and form our homes to look more like Jesus. They make us desperate for Him, often causing us to run up to High places with Him to see from His perspective. In saying YES to all that Jesus has for me, and committing to abiding in Him, I have found that there is always much fruit being produced (see John 15).

For those of you who too have children in heaven, I can not wait to see the glorious assignments that have been entrusted to them in Heaven when we get there. In the meantime, trust that they are in the safest place that they can be- wrapped up in the arms of Jesus. In my devotional for pregnancy loss, we dive deep into asking the question “Lord, What are you doing?” We get to focus on living, moving, and having our being in Christ. It is there that the Fruit Producer, Jesus Himself, does his best producing of fruit. If you can relate to my story, I encourage you to join us here https://www.maerosestark.com/books/p/from-heart-sick-to-heart-fulfilled-devotional

We are delighted to share Christ’s victory in us with all of you. We pray it stirs your faith. That in the pressing, the pruning, Jesus is bringing forth LIFE that is of Him, for Him, and in His very image. Our miracle baby boy will be joining us this Spring. We can not thank you enough for those of you who have prayed for us and spoke Truth into us. We would not be where we are today without you, and your investment into us does not go unnoticed. We can not wait to hold him in our arms and teach Him ALL Jesus has taught us in our process of getting to him. My prayer is that you, too, discover the fruitfulness that comes as you trust in the Lord and abide in Him. God’s love never disappoints.

Remember, there is a time and a season for everything (Ecclesiastes 3:1). The season of spring is coming soon for all of us, in God’s perfect shape and form. He is working miracles in us and around us everyday, let us ask Jesus to open our eyes to see them.

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19, ESV).

In Christ, MRS
